Neuroplasticity: The brain’s ability to reorganize itself by forming new neural connections throughout life. Neuroplasticity allows the neurons (nerve cells) in the brain to compensate for injury and disease. This includes both physical changes, such as the growth of new neurons, and functional changes, such as the formation of new neural connections.

The purpose of #ThinkTherapy is to calm the central nervous system so that thoughts become more focused. After practice, individuals are able to shift away from negative thinking towards more positive neural connections.

ThinkTherapy is based on various ancient practices such as tai chi, qigong, and meditation. Through these activities, users can learn how to control their breath and become more mindful of their physical environment.

Combining these techniques with psychological elements such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR). The goal is to help people gain control over the mind and body while remaining present

ThinkTherapy takes an interdisciplinary approach, incorporating the physical, chemical and physiological characteristics of the components of the neuroimmune system in psyconeuroimmunology (PNI).

So next time you’re feeling down, remember that you have the power to change your brain – and your life – simply by using #ThinkTherapy
